SIMPRO Academy runs professional-grade racing and flight simulators — the same class of equipment real race teams and serious sim racers train on, not consumer gaming kit. Direct-drive wheelbases, load-cell pedals, triple-screen rigs with dedicated telemetry, and VR for both racing and flight. When we say the driving feels real, this is why.
Every rig is built to a professional spec on purpose. The closer the hardware is to a real car, the faster you learn and the more the lap times mean. Come and feel the difference for yourself at SIMPRO Academy, inside Soho Pool Club at Boat Lagoon Marina, Phuket.
The equipment
Each rig is specced for fidelity and consistency, so what you learn in the seat transfers to the real thing:
- Simucube 2 Pro direct-drive wheelbases — high-end direct drive delivers precise, powerful force feedback with no belts or gears in the way. You feel the front tyres load up, the moment grip breaks, and exactly how much the car will give you back.
- Simtrecs load-cell pedals — a high-end load-cell brake responds to pressure, not travel — just like a real brake pedal. It's the single biggest step toward braking like a real driver, and the hardest thing to replicate on consumer gear.
- 32-inch curved triple-monitor setups — a wraparound field of view so you can place the car accurately, read your apexes, and see cars alongside you. Peripheral vision is a real driving skill, and triple screens give it back to you.
- A dedicated 4th telemetry monitor — mounted above the rig for live telemetry, so braking traces, throttle inputs, and lap deltas are right there to read and act on.
- VR for racing and flight — full virtual-reality immersion available for both racing and flight simulation experiences, for when you want to be inside the car or cockpit.

Our racing rigs run iRacing, the online motorsport platform used by professional and amateur racers worldwide for its accurate car physics, laser-scanned tracks, and genuine competition. Training on iRacing means the handling model, the tracks, and the racecraft you build are the real thing — not a simplified arcade version. It's why skills learned here carry over to real driving.
Built for learning, not just lap times
Professional hardware only matters if it helps you improve — and that's the whole point of SIMPRO. The telemetry monitor turns every lap into data you can actually use: where you're braking too early, where you're leaving throttle on the table, how your racing line compares lap to lap. Paired with our coaching programs, that feedback loop is how a first-timer becomes a confident, fast driver.
If you want the structured path — from your first laps through racecraft and live competition — our multi-session packages build on exactly this equipment. A single session gets you in the seat; the packages turn the data into speed.

Do you offer VR?
Yes — full VR is available for both racing and flight simulation experiences.
Do I need any experience to drive the simulators?
None at all. You get a short setup brief and you're driving within minutes. The professional hardware actually makes it easier to learn good habits from the start.
Does SIMPRO sell simulator hardware or software?
No. SIMPRO is a hands-on coaching and simulation centre — we don't sell or support sim racing hardware or software.
